Why does my friend pee the bed?!
Question: ok so i have this guy friend who always comes over to drink with us.. sometimes he getts a little crazy and ends up spending the night.. the next morning i wake up to find him laying on the couch naked with his wet pants outside? obviously he peed while sleeping.. im shocked ofcourse considering he is 22 years old! he is over weight i mean hes almost 300 lbs. ok so after this accident i find out from other friends that when he drinks hes pees the bed .... WHY!?!?!?!?!?!

alot of people piss them selves when there drunk.

There might be something wrong with him? poor guy
that is a disease or he could just be drunk.But there is a disease like that .it will need surgery!
he might have a uirnary track infection or serious bladder problems. he also may of been seriously sexually voilated many times a a young age. you should talk to him.
When a person is overweight they cannot feel or tell when the urge to pee comes over them because he is also drunk. I personally know from my own experiences before I lost like 80 lbs. He may want to wear Depends to bed for those special times.
i have had that problem in the past mostly when i drank alcohol but i drank heavily since i was 19 every night and the bed wetting would come and go, for years sometimes,i really think its psychological but i cant explain it!
When someone passes out from drinking alcohol the central nerves system shuts down. when a person is asleep and has to urinate, the bladder sends a signal to the brain. "hey we're full down here get up so we can empty this." The brain then sends a signal to the central nerves system to alert you that you need to wake up. When a person is to intoxicated the central nerves system cannot respond to the brains signal.
The alcohol is causing him to sleep VERY heavily.
if he it only happens when he is drnk, he could have serious bladder, kidney, or urinary tract infections.
maybe hes got bladder trouble.
Personally I don't think weight has anything to do with it as I've had friends who were only 160 piss themselves when drunk so that''s not the reason. The reason is that they are drunk and in an alcohol stupor and are to out of it to realize they need to get up and go and they pee. Maybe they think they are in the bathroom? I know sometimes I've had dreams where I had to pee so bad I find a place and let go, as a kid doing this was a sure indication I was wetting the bed, now I can do it in the dream and not wet myself, but when I wake up I usually have to pee pretty bad. Add alcohol to the mix and maybe I wouldn't wake up and someones gettin wet.
Look at all the rock stars who choke on their puke when drinking because they didn't have the sence to roll over or wake up.
