You can't in your wildest dreams appreciate this question, more than me. It brings back some recent bragging rites. Now, I can also share it with the rest of the world on Y/A's. I work at a place, with literally, hundreds of employees. There's always 1 Alpha Male MONGO, in the group, who everybody fears. He talks the talk, AND walks the walk. That's OK. One normal day, it was my turn in the barrell. So he thought. A large group of people. No one as tough as him. Yea. He's twice my size. He grabs me, puts me in his REAL death squeese, and tells me, "CRY UNCLE!!" Oh, I left something out of this story. He knew, but didn't care!! I've been to Pro-wrestling school, and was on TV. Retired from it, when I worked where this story happened. He squeezed!! The crowd cheered!! I came to life! I grabbed a HANDFUL of NARDS, and sqeezed just like morning orange juice!! He literally threw me aside. I rolled from it, like cameras rolling. I stood up. Again!! He was put in his place. NEVER EVER to mess with me again! This is true. Dennis B.
It depends on your strength and size, and the strength and size of your opponent. The best way is to pick up your opponent. This takes away their leverage, which should allow you to get your head free.
If you can't pick him up, grab a leg and try to take away his balance. If you can knock him off balance, he should loosen his grip enough to allow your escape.
Are we talking about a wrestling match or a fight?
If it's a fight, some well placed body punches should loosen his grip.
