Question: i'm 18 years old and i have good health. the other night me and girlfriend were goin to go all the way. we started kissing and making out and i got an erection just fine in my pants. then we started taking off our cloths. then i started with some heavy petting and we were doing fine. then in the middle of it all i lost my hard. my girlfriend then started working at it and i couldn't get it back. i love this girl to death, but i just couldnt get it back. if anyone could help me on this, please do.

The other answers are right on I think. The other thing is the "what ifs" that float in ur big head when the little head is getting reved. Things like what if I don't satisfy her, what if ejaculate too soon, what if she gets pregnant, what if my folks or her folks find out.... All this stuff is really natural, but mite cut the blood flow when you need it most. Relax and take your time, and you will make it happen.

Is this your first time with this girl, or even your first time? The anxiety and stress of it all could have something to do with it. It is a big step, and you want everything to go perfect. Well, sex is not perfect. You need to laugh and relax.
Caused by anxiety/nerves. Even if you dont feel anxious/nervous that's what caused it.
The worst part is... the more you think about it and obsess over it, the more frequently it will happen.

Most likely you experienced too much stress related to performance anxiety. It can impair function at "critical" moments.
Don't stress out about it. It happens. Talk with your girlfriend about it and accept/admit you were worried about doing things perfectly for her and yourself.
Dude if you try too hard your going to get performance anxiety and it will not happen. Just take it easy do not worry about wether your going to be good or am i going to do the right thing or will i be good enough just do it and enjoy the more relaxed you are the better it will work. Remeber that you need birth control somewhere in there or you will be supporting a new little dude for 18 years
