I would wager that although you are using the medication that the doc recommended, you are probably re-infecting yourself too.
When you are active, such as in sports, wear clothing that will wick the moisture (sweat) away from your body. Then shower after wards and use a clean towel to dry off with every time. Then apply the medicine the doc gave you and put on a fresh pair of undies.
The key to getting rid of jock itch is to keep yourself clean and dry as well as using the meds. Boxer briefs seem to do a better job of keeping your naughty bits away from your thighs, it is between these areas that get all sweaty and provide an excellent breeding ground for the fungus that causes jock itch. You may also try applying a powder, such as Gold Bond to these areas to help keep them dry.

Well, the first thing you need to do it keep a clean hygiene.

Take a shower everyday.

Wash your junk and your thighs everyday.

Put on a clean pair of underwear/boxers everyday.

...and if it still happens, go out and get a cheap anti-persperant and rub it on your jewels. That'll help with the jock itch.

ok...im bout to get a lil weird...but it grows (*its a fungus) b/c its warm and damp...try baby powder to keep it dry...

dont use soap in the area for a couple of days it is being irritared by the soap , go to wall mart and get equate antifungal cream ,apply a light coat every mournig after your shower

do u wear breifs? try boxers
