I cut my whole body hair. It's neat, clean and makes the body fresher. (Especially in the southern regions). I only cut it in preparation for sex though. Other than that I stay hairy.

It's deff normal for guys to do that, though I personally don't. I think guy's look a lot sexier when they're hairy. I guess trimming is ok, though, just so long as you don't shave it/trim too much. Because if you shave it then all it ends up looking like down there is one of those naked mole rat things, which no one wants inside them.

usually you wash the region try shampooing and conditioning after washing, the hair is much softer

Hey, if you like doing it who cares what others think. Many guys these days keep their pubes at least trimmed if not shaved. The caveman wild look is gone and the women seem to like it better being at least trimmed. I trim pubes to a quarter inch and shave the balls smooth. The feeling is great and the look is much cleaner.
Trimming it is okay but i dont know about totally shaving it all off.
