Diet is the main thing man,eat high protien foods and carbs.

Carbs if the Fuel
you are the Fire (weight lifting)
Protien rebuilds the muscles and helps them grow

1.eat alot of potatoes, rice, pasta and other good carbs
mix it with protien such as Tuna,Turkey,Chicken

2.Cardio

3.do alot of intense lifting

make this your daily routine and you will start putting on very lean shredded weight.

if you do it without the cardio you will get big,you will have less definition and you will be unfit.

It really depends on your body type. So there are limitations to how much muscle mass you can attain naturally. Increase your caloric intake and reduce your caloric expense. In other words you have to eat alot and rest alot. Try to limit any cardio exercises and just stick to free weights.

Keep your workouts short and intense. Do low repetition heavy weights. Instead of 3 or 4 sets of 10 bench presses do 3 sets with the first set 10 reps, the second set 8 and the third set 6 or 4 and increase the weight 5 or 10 pounds every set. You'll be able to build strength quickly with this method.

You also might want to look into plyometrics for building strength and mass.

Good luck.

Creatine, it is safe and effective
Don't order any muscle bound crap off the net you fool, you'll die.
You can get creatine at health food stores or Wal-mart.
Don't forget you are only 16 you are still growing. Body building takes time if you want mass. Lift weights heavier than your body slow and longer repetitions.
Creatine is a formula that helps build muscle mass take it with caution though ok

well first, you must be taking some sort of whey protein because that will balance out strength and bulk. i would recommend no-explod stacked with nitrix and maybe amino acid pills from gnc. I'm using my sisters profile. I'm a guy and i use that stuff. but when you take the nitrix first.. only take 1 because it will make you light headed but you will be able to use more.

There are different amounts of reps and sets that need to be carried out in order to achieve what you want! For example: if you are trying to gain muscle mass, the best amount of reps and ses is a s follows:
3 sets x 6-8 repetitions/ allow your muscles to recover for 1 min in between sets)
also, i've known guys to train doing 1set x 1 rep...this is done by lifting the heaviest amount of weight that you can only lift one time (be careful if you try this though, because if your lifting technique is not developed, you may strain muscles and cause injury)
Just so you can see the difference in training methods, coz i am a girl, when i train, i don't want to gain lots of muscle mass, however, i want to acheive a nice toned physique, in order for me acheive that, my lifting reps and sets is as follows:
3-4 sets x 8-12 reps

with your training requiring 3 x6-8! and lift a weight that is a real struggle, if your clenching your teeth to get those last few reps in, your doing a good job...its not meant to easy!

but please, do your lifting in front of mirror, this helps you look at your technique and also assists keeping your posture upright- if you have had someone show you how to lift correctly, then go for it, if you haven't, its best you do, you'll achieve a lot more when its done the correct way and prevent injury to your muscles, ligaments and tendons. and don't forget to stretch after your training, hold each stretch for 12-15secs. i wouldn't advise stretching before you workout either!

Try this, it works great.
