Adult circumcision worry!?!
Question: I'm 20 and i was circumcised 2 weeks ago and a few of the stitches are still in, but what im worrying about is that Before the operation i was about 6'' but now im 5'' could simply be due to stitches still being in as it does sting a bit when erect (like they are being pulled)

I was circumcised as an adult too and you are absolutely correct. I found that for the first month or so erections ware not quite up to normal size but as time went on I fully returned normal dimensions. Your penis has suffered a trauma and your body is limiting it's self because of the obvious discomfort, bruising and stitches.
Ignore the comments about circumcision reducing the size of your penis, as that is absolutely NOT true. Think about it logically. An intact erect penis is exactly the same length as a circumcised penis, the shaft length is the same and the tip of the glans is exactly the normal distance from the body. The presence or absence of a foreskin is irelevant as when erect an intact man finds his foreskin retracts down the shaft and looks nearly identical to someone who has been cut when erect. When soft you may have had freskin extending past the end of the glans but to be honest, who cares if it's gone?, no one looks impressive when soft anyway and a cut penis does tend to look neater anyway.
As for size change, the head of the penis does appear to grow slightly if it was tightly constrained by the foreskin but other than that you have a perfectly fine organ that is every bit as large and good as an uncut one. I don't understand what all the fuss is about.
why did u do it........just let it heal but make sure it doesnt get infected and if ur concerned get to ur doctor quick, im sure it isnt smaller
It didn't shrink -and you will learn to really enjoy the changes.
Well yeah since a bit is chopped off lol. Wait around 2 more weeks to get better and wow i wouldn't like being circumcised at that age lol.

Nope. You lost an inch cuz they cut off the foreskin. You need skin for it to stretch, therefore you need foreskin. BTW, from what I've read, men enjoy sex less because the foreskin contains many, many nerves...and girls have orgasms easier with uncircumcised men. Just to let ya know...which every girl wants to orgasm before the man does..........
But if you got it for health reasons, that's fine. But lookie here...at the sites...
I have more, but just to give you three. Look at the second one, tho. It says the reason why you have foreskin. But if you had an infection or something, you could've just got medication...
but hey, who am I to be telling you that your circumcision was a bad idea? It's your groin. You can do whatever you like with it. I'm just givin' ya some info.
But the circumstitions site is really helpful. It basically points out that if you don't want to bother cleaning your penis, then circumcision is the way to go. And you can only get penile cancer if you don't clean it for YEARS, not days. And "smegma" is Greek for "soap", so it washes out easily. Circumcision is just for lazy people...or people who actually have an infection...but even then, you can get medication and stuff. 85% of the men's population is uncircumcised and are perfectly healthy. People say it's "cleaner" to get circumcised, but it really doesn't help too much. Just read the site...the third one. Peek around it, explore it, and get to know more about circumcision. It'll do every guy some good.
And a guy wrote a book that circumcision affects the social and mental health of the guy. Forgot what site that was on, tho...
And another thing. Women on here will say they prefer a circumcised man, but they just say that because they've only tried circumcised. On the first site, they say how much more enjoyment the woman gets out of the uncircumcised groin than the circumcised. In fact, 89% said they would rather have an uncircumcised than circumcised after they read that lady's book.
No.... you did not shrink. You're still recovering and this will simply take some time. I would avoid getting hard till all the stitches are out. The head of your penis will actually become thicker and increase in size becoming more pronounced.
In a month you'll realize how much better everything is.
