Semen is more likely to be yellow as more days elapse since your last ejaculation. Fresh semen (i.e., less than 24 hours since last ejac) is likely to be white. After a few days, yellow solids can show up in semen. It's from your prostate fluid just getting old inside you.

A little color to your ejaculate is normal and it can vary in viscosity (thickness) but yellow "chunks" doesn't sound so.
This may sound kind of funny, but drink about 3 liters of water (not all at once) and after you've peed clear once or twice, rub one out.
If it's thinner and whiter it might just be a hydration issue and you need to drink more water. If not, I would recommend going to see a urologist.
