I shower at the gym. There is nothing wrong with taking a shower after a nice work-out.
It helps your body relax and could prevent muscle soreness. If there is a steam room even better, you can help elevate the blood temperature of your body, rushing blood cells to the muscles that you just worked out, it helps prevent pain and bringing some nutrients to the specific muscle area. Make sure you drink water if you use the steam room and ONLY stay there for no more than 15 minutes, or 3 at a 5 min. time intervals.
Make sure you use sandals to prevent any fungal infections and don't expose any body parts to any equipment such sitting nude on a bench while changing clothes.
A shower after a work out makes you feel refresh and gives a sense of accomplishment when you are walking/driving/biking back home or wherever you need to get to after your work out.

Yes, showering at the gym is a must. Who wants to do a work out then leave all sweaty. People need to grow up about showers, both at school and at public gyms. It seems like we are still a bunch little kids giggling in the corner.

Yes there is nothing to hide or be ashamed of. We are all different in sizes . Be proud of what you have and remember. The penis size doesn't make us men, and those of us that has a large one that hangs well and looks good, often doesn't grow as much as the one's that are shorter in appearance when they get an erection. No. I no longer shower at the gym. For various reasons.
1) The last time I did, when I was 22, this guy checked me out. Scared me. He was kinda weird.
2) One time I forgot my shower shoes it was disgusting.
3) I only work out now for 30 minutes per day since I am 32 weeks, 3 days pregnant.
