I guess a bit of friction at the tip of the penis is normal after vigorous intercourse. If it gets extremely unbearable I would suggest that he lubricate the tip of his penis with some vaseline or nivea petroleum jelly and he might not feel the soreness. Sometimes an underlying infection called as Urethritis can be aggravated by intercourse and a simple urinalysis can confirm its presence.

I guess you mean his urethra sort of burns. this indicates some kind of irritation in the urethral lining.. or it can indicate a urinary tract infection... or indeed, it can indicate an STD like chlamydia for example. If it only burns following monkey business (lol) ... it is more likely to be an irritation to the urethral lining during intercourse... vigourous sex can cause it.
