women are instinctively nosy (atleast from my experiences). Note that many women will read this and probably make a face and think to themselves "waht a ^*%#, im not nosy".
Many of them think that because they have BF's or husbands they know alot of the common problems that arise, which in some cases may be true. The real question is.. why question it.
If the women want to keep helping us with our health issues then please ill take whatever i can get (not me personally, i have not been sick or suffered a serious injury in my entire life- but thats another story)...

Seriously, we probably just know so many men that we care about and need to keep them up to speed on their own health. Men aren;t the fastest to admit they're sick, so we have to prove they might need medical attention.
So we read, and ask more questions, and aren;t we women quick to give advice anyway?

Not surprising at all. My wife's an RN head nurse in an OB office. Youngest daughter is a nurse in labor and delivery working on her masters degree. Older daughter a high school guidance counselor.
I worked around woman engineers and scientists in the glass industry, I greatly admired their brilliance.
As for myself: Only a two yr. college degree in Ag. Eng. My mechanical aptitude rolled me into great very unusual jobs in the glass and ceramic industry. Every day was fun because new challenges popped up every day.
I had the opportunity to interact with chemists, mechanical engineers, ceramic engineers and Dr's of metallurgy and Dr's of ceramic engineering. Please understand all these people were men and women.
It's great to be able to analyze, think and do things. It keeps your mind busy. Oh I have hobbies too. I love to sail the living crap out of my Hobie Cat and do horizon jobs on any other sailboat. It's hard to do but I love the challenge of an E Scow they are deadly fast but if the helmsman makes a mistake I'm on em like a wild dog.
