Question: I just had a circ done 2 1/2 days ago and still have trouble sleeping. I get an erection almost everytime I sleep and wake up to the pain caused from it. To those who have experienced it or have the knowledge about circumcisions, please reply.

What you are experiencing is normal after a circumcision. Once the stitches are out (10 days or so) the discomfort will stop. Until then, when the discomfort wakes you up just get up and walk round until your erection goes down. You'll soon be back to normal and start enjoying the many benefits of circumcision. These include better hygiene, health, comfort, appearance, self-esteem and FAR FAR better sexual sensation and pleasure during intercourse for both you and your female partner(s). Also, most mature experienced women, who have tried both, much prefer a circumcised man as a sexual partner. Ignore the scaremongering tactics of the young inexperienced teenage girls and uncircumcised boys who will answer you question by telling you how "bad" it is to be circumcised. They can of course, know nothing about the banefits of circumcision and they mostly get their "information" from some pretty weird and freaky anti-circumcision propaganda websites, to which they often post links in an effort to give their answer some credibility. IGNORE THEM - there are No disadvantages to being circumcised. Congratulations on your circumcision!

you should get better. just keep taking the medicine they gave you and it should go away in a week or so.
The reason you are having the pain is because when you have the erection, it is stretching your skin around the cut, causing pain.
Unfortunately for your particular situation, there's not one man out there who is past puberty and in good sexual health that doesn't get countless erections over night...
If the wound appears to be healing up well, perhaps applying a warm washcloth to the penis to help soothe the skin could work?
I don't know much about circumcision, only the mechanism of the pain afterward...so make sure you ask your doctor first before applying any medicine or creams to the area that were not prescribed by them.
