Question: my boyfirend and i have been trying to conceive for nearly three years and well nothing has really been happening but my pds are back regular again now and im hoping that will be it but my bf had the mumps when he was round 16-18 and now he thinks he might have low to none sperm count ... is this true in all cases ... every little knock to the testices or slightest touch and he is on the ground .. the docs know about this because they said to him any little pain and to go straight back to the docs .... help plz .. he is a very proud man and wont go get his sperm counted bacause he is afraid they might tell him bad news do you think this may be the case .. thanks

WHOA you need to step back a bit and look at your situation. IF he is not willing to get his swimmers count checked what else is he not willing to do for you. Next is if your not married yet are you willing to have a childless marrage. I know for some chicks it is an important part of life to have children of your own. If you really want to have children then I would step back and reevaluate you getting married. sorry but outsiders see things clearer than being inside. As for getting is swimmers counted he could deposit into a condom and then bring it into the office insted of doing it at the office infront of the nurses.

Well, I don't know much about the whole deal with the mumps and stuff, but if he's afraid to hear the news, just tell him he NEEDS to get checked. He can't hide from reality forever. Just have him get checked and let it be over with.

its easy enough. a trip to they urologist, a sample and they look under the scope and will know right off. if you want to get pregnant, after three years, it is time to get the doctors in the mix on both fronts. they can chk his count and quality and you will know.

This may mean you aren't suppose to conceive yet, get married first and have a stable family and a man you know want walk away, and leave you and the baby alone.;;;
Not sure if the mumps can be a determining factor or not ,however ,your boyfriend could have low sperm count or lazy sperm syndrome,my suggestion he should go see an specialist ASAP!!!!!
