If that is what they gave you, then yes, it will calm you down. The only way it wouldn't is if you take Valium in that dosage or larger regularly. Don't worry about it and don't go asking for more. They really do know what they're talking about! You'll be fine!
yes it wil lbe fine, it will calm you down enough, then the local will make it so that you dont feel much. you will feel them messing around down there but not pain.
Why do you need to be calmed down for something as simple as a vasectomy? Do you have tattoos? Did you need a Valium for that?
I am 6'3". I had my vasectomy when I was 21. I don't remember how much I weighed then. They gave me a Valium, on the day I showed up. I don't think it made any difference, because the surgery only takes 15 min, and I don't think the drug takes effect that fast. The nurse talked to me the whole time. What was there to be nervous about?
