I cant sleep unless i drink lots of whisky ...?!

I our bodies think that they are to be trained by us for what it should do. You have taught your sleep cycle that it does not work unless you drink. Obviously this is not true. You have to break the cycle. Also, you must consider what else is going on when you are trying to go to sleep. Are you stressed, thinking about something good or bad? How do you feel? Are you comfortable in bed? If you have music on it should be soft and calm or soothing. The tv should not be on, it only causes problems with light, sound excess of various subjects to get your attention.

Before you get ready to go to bed, you should be in less light that normal. I have a dimmer that I had put in to help with this. Light makes your brain think that it needs to stay alert. Less light will calm down your brain, telling it that it can relax.

Routine is highly important! Up at one time and in bed at another... always! even on weekends! This will train you sleep cycle and your body to rest and when it should be going. You can not break this cycle or it is all undone.

u don't have to take ALOT of whiskey...just take 4 to 5 sleeping pills with a glass full of whiskey(no soda or water in it like the ladies do!)....sleep will come naturally!!!!
