I removed my stitches from my thumb and now,,,,,?!

Question: the wound around the cut is open, but i see that new skin is coming in. its not that its completely open, its just around the edges. it does have old dark red skin on some edges and i am thinking it will fall off within time, right???

Yep. It will take a few weeks, id put a little neosporin on a bandaid (not directly on the cut!) and keep that on there during the day to keep it clean, then air it out at night.
