Shave, Trim, or Let It Go?!
Question: I'm 21 and was wondering, What is the normal consensus for guys dealing with shaving? I have shaved, trimmed, and let it grow back but I'd like to know what is normal. My stuff seems cleaner when I keep it "maintained" but is that gay? I just want to look presentable to the girl I am hooking up with but don't want to seem like a freak. What are your thoughts?

In my experience I have found the girls prefer things to be clean but not clean shaving. Trim it, to keep it looking good. Last thing a girl wants is to find a caveman. Just try trimming it to a set length and maybe shave the balls. I keep mine at a quarter inch above the penis and the balls shaved smooth. Less upkeep and the look is clean and man the feeling is fantastic. Also you don't have the itchy feeling from shaving. There are no rules for pubes, it is every person for them self, but I'm telling you grooming goes a long way.
Trim is the best option in my opinion. Totally shaven is kind of odd, and not doing anything atall is kind of.. gross.
Think of what you would rather see down there, a forest, or something nicely trimmed and cropped. Abit of attention can go a long ways.

Don't shave it. That's gay. If you are planning on "hooking up," I think it would be thoughtful to trim it back a little. I wouldn't think it was gay. Don't know what guys think, but you probably don't care about that anyway lol! Hope this helps!

You are right clean and cool. I ain't gay but shave in the summer every few weeks. Wife loves it clean and cool.
shaving it all is not gay. i like it. but at least keep trimmed. don't want it dirty or messy looking. depends on the person you are going to see, they could prefer something totally different. everyones different.
every year for st pattys day i shave it into a clover that would be cool to show your friends

being clean and looking trimmed is not gay, i hate that stereotype. but yeah being trimmed is best because it is a neutral territory.
uhm...just because some of those stupid mucho men like to say removing body hair makes you gay is an idiot. i shave down there...i'm not gay, i have a girlfriend of 2 years now. if you hate body hair or just get tired of putting up with it...just shave it or trim it. it does NOT make you gay. shaving is a lot easier in my opinion. most guys who say they get too itchy don't exactly know how to properly shave and make sure it doesn't get very itchy....go against the grain and make sure you do gentle moderate strokes (with shaving cream)
or just get some nose hair scissors...and trim it. just make sure you do not cut yourself...mke sure you pull the skin out a little to get a "smooth shave" no....you don't use aftershave. just put some lotion on and you'll be fine.
plus...my girlfriend loves me not having hair (and obviously 90% of girls i bet HATE going down on a guy and getting more hair then *** in their mouths)

just shave it. if you don't like doing it a lot..the second time after a few days ( i shave every other day..some do it daily.) just trim it. make sure you do not cut yourself...hope this helps.

trimming is the best option, then you wont get razor burn, or an irritation after sex.
If you shave it, you will have annoying bumps, and the risk of ingrown hairs.

Trim it as you would any thing else. It just gets nasty and looks unkept much like if you chose not to clip your toenails or cut the hair on your head.
