everyone has yeast growing on them.....and other microbes....and all kinds of stuff we can't see....it's part of being a natural being in this world. Many times if a girl has a yeast infection they can spread it to their boyfriend but that doesn't mean you have one or gave him one. our body has checks and balances to keep most things at bay.......there are for instance beneficial bacteria that are within us that compete for the food of yeast cells......if there is enough of that good bacteria, it will keep the yeast population down....but if the bacteria has been killed off by heavy antibiotic use, poor diet etc....then the yeast organisms can overgrow and create a yeast infection. and yeast is not a bacteria so antibiotics won't do a thing to cure it........he should see a doctor to make a sure diagnosis but what the doctor will prescribe is the same cream you would use if you had a yeast infection.
