idk about the 10 second rule but i know it hurts in the stomach area because your balls start out on the inside near your stomach before birth and the nerves are still up there or something...thats what i heard on nat geo's fight science about low blows in boxing

grab a stop watch and get someone to give em a flick!! lol!..true tho..why does it hurt in the stomach??

I didn't know this.. if it hurts in the stomach, why do you guys hold your test!cles then??

the pain illicited increases activation of the vagal nerve in the mid brain. this excitation cause increased sympathetic out-flow, which increases blood pressure, slows gut motility (nausea), and can even cause dizzyness and/or fainting.
The pain delay can also beassociated with an immedite endorphin release which fades and the pain hits.
It's probably also less than 10 seconds...maybe 3?

I dont know if its ten seconds but it definitely takes a bit to really hurt it doesn't hurt immediately but god i very sensitive down there as is every man but....
