Depressed Late Bloomers?!
Question: Hello all. I am a late bloomer (18) and I just started puberty about a year ago. To be honest, I have been told and I believe that I am going to perpetually look like I am 12. I have never had a girlfriend, been on a date, or even hooked up with a girl outside of school.
This has troubled me lately because most of my friends keep flaunting that they have and it depresses me from time to time. They also flaunt other *things* (pun) and when they get to me, I just walk away or say I have to do something else.
Also, do late bloomers have a thing with penis envy? I keep reading all the other posts that say that they do and it is slowly coming true.
I am coming to the conclusion that I will never become like everyone else and just blend in with a crowd. I will always have that one thing that will make me inferior to the others. When will I become normal? How can these events be turned towards my favor? Am I gay?

Its okay to be a late bloomer. As far as penis envy goes, get over it. It'll stay in your pants until you meet the right person and then they'll get to see it and by then it won't matter. If other guys are looking at your junk close enough to discern size/etc then I'd be concerned that they are gay. By the time you get out of highschool this will all be behind you. Some women may actually prefer a man that hasn't hooked up tons anyway.
Some suggestions: whatever you are going through with your current peer group is just temporary. Meet some new friends otherwise. Don't buy anything on the internet promising "an extra 2 inches" Like other answers, just be happy with what you have.
It is theorized that Jack the Ripper wasn't so lucky in the functioning sexual organ department. He probably had such a misshapen member that it caused him severe pain to have an erection. This is probably why he so brutally murdered so many prostitutes.
Keep in mind that puberty is a very emotional time as well with the hormone changes you are going through. As stated above, this is all temporary.
i was like that and didn't have the same size as them,my friends would ask me to show them mine and when i looked at them i was very small and they would run off and tell there friends about mine and strip me to have a look for themselves so i had feelings for guys and had sex with them so they would be my friend
You are not the first to be a late bloomer and no you are not gay unless you are enjoying sex with other males. Just because you started late should not make you feel inferior you are as normal as everyone else. As for the other thing if it works as it should be happy.
