My dad best friend said, i invite you for a week end for you to meet my daughter!
Question: My dad best friend since they were kids visited us during the week end, he said "i like you to meet my daughter". i only knew that he's my dad best buddy he said his daughter is beautiful and intelligent same age as i am. he invited me to go visit them for a couple of days and meet his family. he said i would prefer a man for my daughter that i already know or the family that i already know. i ask my dad if he wants me to go and he said its worth a try. they know i have a girl friend since im 14 y/o and the two years that weve been together i believe she's the girl i want to marry someday. should i go and visit them ..should i tell my GF? is this kind of fixing us to meet so that we fell in love? whats your thoughts?

your dad just give you suggestions and path for you to decide for yourself what to do with your life...dad are like that sometimes overprotecting his kids for his good but sometime they overstepped and we feel treatened. just go ahead and find out, you can tell your gf that your going to visit some old friends for the week end, maybe sometimes it also good that you have choices in your life before you ever decide on what to do. your still young i bet you will encounter more on this even your mom will come in to let you know they care for you

You/ve got a real tricky situation there! But not a problem.
Firstly say to your dad that as he knows you have a longstanding G/f and you think it would be unfair to her and you are sure he wouldn't want you to be deceitful.
Then phone your dad's friend & thank him for the invitation. Tell him you have a girlfriend you have been with for 2 years.
Lastly tell your g/f & that you declined the invitation because of her.
You'll be number one in everyone's eyes because of your honesty & mature handling of the situation. Of course your g/f will think you are the greatest.

go meet the other girl nd tell her the tructh, and before going tell your GF the truth... afterwards once both of you are friends... tell your parents that you 2 are only friends!
