My Friend's Diabetic Help?!

Question: He drinks alcohol--beer, at least 2 huge big gulps--diet sodas and 365 days a year eats garbage take out food at least 2-3X a day, and has diabetes and it's getting worse?

Won't listen to anyone for help.
So, what kind of things can I expect when his health declines?
What are the symptoms?
and HE'S 36 years old male.

He also has high blood pressuer, HIGH anxiety/Depression, and NEVER exercises at all.

Diagnosed 3 years ago.

I REALLY hate the one to be the bringer of bad news - but your lucky he hasnt dropped dead yet. Im not going to beat around the bush, Friend, cause you need the truth. This guy is going to simply croak, and very soon. We are looking at:

Obesity
Sexual Decline
Mood Decline
Muscle Re-Traction
Heart attacks
Stroke

And a whole damn myriad of things. This guy needs to pick himself up and start to live correctly. Diabetes doesnt have to control you, but if you are smart and want to live - you will live according to the obstical at hand. Get your friend a personal trainer who will come to his door every damn morning and ring his bell untill he's up. He will work him hard and make him eat right. I paid the first year (a whole $9000) for 3 days a week personal training for my friend who had a similiar problem. In most cases, people need to see the grim reaper knocking at their door before they wake the hell up - lets hope your friend doesnt ignore the bell.

He's a idiot!

The symptoms are different, has he got type 1 (Injections) or 2 Tablets?

I have type 1 and I do my very best!

Your friend wont be here for long if he keeps on at this rate :P

That will do him.

He could go into a Diabetic coma, heart attack

he is most likley gonna die of a heart attack, he serioussly needs to get a doctors help unless he wants to die at an early age

He has greatly increased his risk your heart attack, and other heart diseases, hypoglycemia- which could result in seizure and possible death, poor circulation- which may result in amputation, loss of eye sight, kidney failure, and premature death due to any number of the above problems.
Diabetes is a death sentence if not cared for properly.
Good luck to you and your friend.
