My husband's head stinks!?!
Question: Anyone ever had experience with smelly heads? My husbands head stinks, and when he use my pillow, my pillow stinks just like it. He showers daily, but in the evenings, or right before he showers, it's really bad. He doesn't smell it himself though. Anyone know what this can be? Just body odor? I've never seen anyone with a smelly head like this before...

Does he use prescription medications? Drink alcohol? Eat red meat? Drink carbonated drinks? Any and all of these could be the cause of his smelly head. Mine use to stink also, and I had to cut out all of the above. Now I drink pure water, on occasion I might have a soda but that is rare, I eat a vegan diet and I use herbs such as powered garlic and powered thyme in my cooking (do not use any herb that has salt in it, such as garlic salt, to much salt will kill you). My head no longer smells.

If he wears a hat throughout the day, then it is sweat. My husband's smells the same way when he pulls his hat off. I make him take a shower before he gets into bed so he does not leave the smell on the pillows and covers.
Try saving bald and putting lemon on his head for a week??
Does he wear a hat because the hat collects the head sweat and just makes your head stink from all the old sweat!
try going to the doctor my bf's head smells like raviole i hope he washed it but see if its his sweat glands
maybe it's the gel he's using... my dad has that :P
maybe it's just the "chemicles" or the make up of his hair or w/e hair is made up of. it just smells :P
body oder has alot to do with not only hygene but also what he eats and also medicines. Ask a Dr. maybe he has a problem that can be easily cured. Try different shampoos too maybe . GOOD LUCK!

that is sooo funny, is he old? because I have smelled old man smell before. my old uncle has old man smell, well thats what I call it. maybe you can get some teatree oil and put it in his shampoo., it will kill any fungus there may be and it will deodorize it too. but no I have never actually heard of a young persons head smell like that. Didnt you smell it before you guys got married? wow. this is so so funny . lol lol lol
He probably needs to use some conditioner. Men aren't as focused on the condition of their hair (although some are obsessed with the appearance). Have him give himself a good scalp massage with his shampoo and then have him use some good conditioner. You'll notice a pleasant smell.

Try to do this in a hidden way, Give him string shampoo or body wash along with a kit of shower stuff ( to make it look like a gift but it's really not). if that doesn't work then you just have to tell him. Don't yell it in his ear though. Trust me, no guy is going to break-up or divorce because their wife/girlfriend said that their head was smelly. say this : Honey, I just wanted to tell you that sometimes your head gets a little smelly sometimes. I am not really ok with it, because it gets my pillow that way. So, can you try to get it out? Thanks honey. I love you.

Maybe he has overactive sebaceous glands. It could be what he eats. I know I can always tell a Pakastani because of the curry smell. (sorry,no offense to anyone)
something he is eating what are you feeding the man alot of garlic?do you have him on multivitamins? does he oily hair? dry hair ?my hubby doesnt stink but the dog does she puts off this bad secretion and it wreaks ugh!!!!
If he works out and sweats hes gonna stink! Thats why hes going to take a bath! He stinks because hes a SWEATY MAN whos not had a shower yet! Smell his feet and butt crack. I bet they stink too before bathing!
