Question: Hi um i was just kinda wondering how teachers (males) handle having teenage girls in their class tell them about their periods or have to because they leaked or whatever

I teach high school, so every now and then a girl tells me its her time. I follow the rule at school, and I am supported by my principal (a woman): they cannot leave the classroom. They know that they must change the pad, or whatever, during lunch or their break.
They are not at all embarrassed to tell me out loud in front everyone in the class. They are not ashamed because I think they want to embarrass me. It doesn't work and eventually they stop asking.
well my friend.. when she has her period, she goes right out and says it.. hey mr ______ can i go change my pad.. and he's like yeah i understand go ahead
guys know we have periods, so they should respect youu.
it doesnt embarerss(sorry cant speel today) them because they have been teachers before and had girls do the same so it gets samey' after a while and their not bothered after a while
Teachers know more than we think they do. It is good that a student can go to a teacher and ask, anything.
Yea, I've seen that happen before in my experiences in High School- the girl usually just says she needs to "freshen up" in the bathroom. The teachers are always discreet about it.
