Question: is there anything you can take while on steroids to prevent the side affect of premature balding while on steroids? i know you can take milk thistle for liver and stuff but what about the going bald part? is there anything you can do to prevent that?

Unless you are genetically predispose to balding, you may not have a problem if you take A LIGHT CYCLE. Taking a very strong or heavy cycle can aggravate the situation. There is very little chance of suffering balding effects if you take a light cycle, unless your genes have decided you will go bald.
Remember, side effects are POSSIBLE side effects. Just because you take steroids it doesn't mean you will go bald, or get Gyno, or have testicular atrophy and so on.
Why are you taking steriods? If you're taking them to build muscle you should stop, because natural methods are much safer and are much more impressive. If you're taking them for medical reasons, then there isn't much you can do. Although, since you're asking Yahoo Answers, and not a doctor, You're probably trying to get buff without doing nearly as much work.
You could try Finesteride, but that med comes with its own set of possible side effects. My suggestion is that if you're going to use anabolics, simply don't overdo it. You've seen professional bodybuilders, and most of them either wear wigs or shave their heads.
