I find myself needing to...?!

Question: masturbate more often. I'm going to be seventeen in two months.

I often try not to, but I end up masturbating every three to four days now.
Is anything wrong with me or is this normal?

There are studies coming out that say that masturbation is actually harmful (especially mentally and emotionally). If you're doing it, stop the habit. Here are some tips on how to stop:

Keep busy - when you're busy doing homework, reading, any sort of constructive activity, it will help you keep your mind off of it. Don't put yourself in situations or around people who make you revert back to masterbating.

Exercise - start an exercise routine, it helps you release all that pressure and again, it keeps you busy. When I found it really hard to keep myself from doing it, I go for a run; this does miracles, because you stop yourself from doing it and you stay/get into shape.

If you do it when you're in bed - wear pajama pants or basketball shorts that make it hard for you to get your hand down there, and if you still try for it, as much as you don't want to, get out of bed and either walk around or do something.

If it's when you shower - don't linger in the shower (I'd take hour long showers which led to me masterbating), do what you need to do in the shower and that's it, don't spend excessive time cleaning or admiring your member.

If it happens while on the computer - don't read/look at stuff that you know leads you to masterbating. If you find that you get an erection while reading/looking at something on the computer, close the window and get away from the computer for a while (many times I'd read something innocent that made me get a hard on and then I'd revert back to masterbating).

Masterbating is just like any other habit - once you start it's hard to break the cycle. With masterbating, the body will get into the habit of needing to release itself because you've gotten into the habit of doing it. As time goes on (if you're trying to stop) you're body will slow down it's production and you won't have the urgency to do it. You've got to remember that if you mess up along the way it's alright, but don't rationalize your mess ups to the point of where you make excuses just to do it. If you work on not doing it, you can break the cycle, just don't give up! Hope this helps!!!

okay thats cool?
Its normal for your age.
your hormones and your male instinct. lol.

It's normal. There's nothing wrong with it.

Less than normal.

Most guys choke the chicken about once a day at 17.

Every 3 - 4 days is fine. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with masturbating. All the myths that it's wrong in some way or another are just plain WRONG. It's good for your body, actually.

Please read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masturbatio...

normal, most guys give'r if not once a day more

LOL ..I was masturbation champ at 17. But honestly though men usually reach their sexual peek between 17-23. It very normal to want to masturbate routinely as it relieves stress, but too much masturbation I believe may become harmful not physically but emotionally\mentally if it becomes obsessive and inhibits normal human interaction and relationships. So whack away till your lil hearts content.

Enjoy it, it costs nothing and harms no one.

it's just normal.. younger guys (17-22) masturbate too much. there are some research that guys who masturbate more than 7 times a day are happy persons.

When man age-up masturbation is not as they do it before.

Try to send me an IM i'll answer your questions.

At 17, it was rare that I would go a day w/o whacking.

i masturbate every night before bed, every 3 or 4 days is no big deal.

This is a sign that you probably have cancer. Make out your will, and say goodbye to your loved ones.
p.s. Can I have your Xbox?
