first what are you trying to do with your body besides get bigger? Any specific sports? Muscle milk yea can help but I wouldn't worry about anything except hitting the gym hard and then worry about other things. First concentrate on setting a routine up and following it. Also get as much protein in your body that you need. About 1-1.5* your body weight of grams of protein. I have switched routines but the one i am on is something like monday- chest/tri/shoulder tuesday back/bi Wednesday or thursday 1 will be legs and the other rest so I will have 2 days of rest for my upper body. friday is same as monday but not as heavy and saturday is same as tuesday for keep it light so you can go again monday.
Try lifting everyday things that are around the house.
