The water in the jacuzzi or spa is usually aboaut 102-104 degrees--well above your normal body temperature of 98.7 degrees.

The longer you stay in the hot water, your body may begin to relax, but the danger is that you will become overheated and could become ill or light-headed or weakened even to the point that you may not be able to get yourself out of the spa.

So they say don't stay in over 15 minutes for safety reasons.

You can become dehydrated due to the high heat.

your core body temp is 37 deg. Celcius i think but if the core temp increases or decreases just 1deg.c it can be catastrophic and you can die
