Question: I never have in this life anyhow. Is it common for guys to get them? Just kind of curious about the whole facial thing. I mean, does it really clean ones face that much better then say Ivory soap?

It's more of a 'womanly' thing. Like anyone could go to a spa, but usually it's just women. Ya know?

Gay men get facials but i don't know any hetero men who do, and, for the record, Metrosexuals AREN"T hetero.
Oh wow...I was thinking of another type of facial! I actually think the number of men going in for the salon type of thing is increasing; lets face it...it's an untapped market. Hence all the facial lotions, etc. that are popping up for men. I say if you want one...just do it!
I use tooth paste from time to time on my face. I found this out as a kid that it helps prevent pimples. I've found it makes my skin look better.
Actually, while at the salon getting a pedicure in the massage chair (oh yeah...) I've seen many men come in with their wives and get a massage and facial. Manly men, who want to get exfoliated, which you cannot get with Ivory.
However, WalMart sells exfoliating products for men much cheaper and you could do it yourself at home, it feels great and makes you look even better.
I use Ivory twice a day and exfoliate about 3 times a week.
I think that could go for either sex...
