Sizing up...;)?!


Question: I have asked this already, but,
How can I broaden my shoulders? They're about average right now, but I'd like to broaden them a little further, bulk up a bit more.
I do push ups and stuff in the morning, but they don't seem to be getting much bigger.
Also, any more effective ways of toning the abdominals? right now I've got a bit of a smooth 4 pack going, I wanna try get it more 6 packish.
Ideas?

Well, push ups won't make you shoulder THAT broad simply because doing push ups is for muscle strength and development of the biceps/triceps. I recommend you to try this one (it's the one I'm doing):

1. Lie upon your back with the board resting diagonally across the chest. Grasp the handles with both hands and pull upward as far as possible. The arm muscles and upper ribs must feel the strain. Resist with a downward pull of equal force. Next reverse the pull so that each side may be exercised.

2. With the board lying at right angles across the chest, pull with both hands at once, keeping up the strain for two or three seconds; then relax. Begin with five movements for each exercise. Increase to fifteen movements, as your physical condition may allow.

These will bring into action the muscles attached to the shoulder blades. It is an excellent exercise for ladies who may be deficient at this area. Improvement will certainly result if these directions are faithfully followed. If your shoulders were once well developed and symmetrical, that condition can certainly be restored by persistent practice of this exercise.

YOU PUT MUD ON EACH SHOULDER LOOK IN A MIRROR AND WISH,

well you probably dont realise this but you might be getting broader but you dont notice because your eyes are growing with your body and not noticing any difference take a pic before and after etc

do pilates look it up or get a dvd or something they are great for legs *** and chest

Join a gym. do sets of heavy weights on all the machines, do push ups and pull ups, as well as sit ups.... 3 times a week!

nutrition is also very important, portein (lean meat) and complex carbs for energy (wholegrain cereals, pasta, rice) and obviously your 5 a day fruit and veg... couple months you will be built!

Board shoulders aren't really built. You have to have them genetically.

You can put more muscle on your shoulders, but this will just make them bigger overall. You wont appear more broad.

If you are looking for that triangular shape, try swimming! Tone and proportion may give you the look you want.

you don't say how old you are so if you have free weights do 3 sets of eight press behind necks last a bit difficult go to a gym. or get info of the net stomach exercises look on the net loads of free information with pictures
