Average girth (or around) is about 4.5 inches, which, for the record, would be translated into about 1.5 - 2 inches of width. If someone tells them that they have 4 inches of width, they're lying. 3 inches would be extremely rare, too. Besides, 4 inches of width seems rather large, don't you think? I mean, just look at 4 inches and translate that into a penis...that's huge.
I say that because some guys (or even uninformed women) will say it would be 3 inches wide, when it really isn't average.
And the coke can thing is complete crap. Women WISH they could get one that big. Penises are rarely that thick.

I'm informed they feel real good at around 5.5 inches up to about 6.5 inches in girth. We blokes tend to talk mostly about length.. but as your question suggests.. if the length is reasonably average... it's the girth that can do the business best from a ladies perspective.
In terms of girth a penis can be somewhat smaller than I mentioned and also somewhat thicker (8 inches girth is not unheard of). There is a great variety.. about 2 billion human penis on the planet and no two are exactly identical.
