it could be that he has a rare medical condition that he has a third vas. my dad had a third and thats how we got my sister. also the human body has amazing recover capabilities and it is totally possible that even with them lazering the ends it could have grown back. one of mine did, and they cut out half an inch of tube and burned the ends closed with a soldering iron. he just needs to get the doc to go in there and try again.
Perhaps he needs to have the procedure done over again!

When I worked for a urologist, we used to recommend at least 10 ejaculations before a sample was brought in. Has he had that many?

It has not been 6 months yet. That is how long it took mine to clear. I continued using condoms for almost a year. I also get mine checked every 5 years.
If he didn't get a "traditional" vasectomy, then the chances of failure are a lot higher. He may have to get it done over again.
