How can I gain weight and muscle faster?!?!


Question: I just turned seventeen, im 6'3", and I weigh 170 lb. Ive been working out five days a week for about two months. Ive seen a good growth in stamina and strength, but I dont seem to get much bulk and I dont seem very toned. I need some guidance... Im looking for a professional responce. Thanx

to gain mass you need to do lots of sets with low number of reps at a very high intensity. I would say you could stand to gain some weight, so you need to basically eat everything in sight, within reason, a box of twinkies is not a good idea. lay off the running for a while, you are burning more calories than you are taking in. if you want to stay in shape, use interval training, sprints followed by rest, something like a 3 to 1 rest:work ratio is probably good, so run for 30 seconds, rest for 1 min. 30 sec.

try this for a about 6 - 8 weeks and see if you gain any wieght and mass.

lots of protein and weight lifting and running to keep it toned.

a lot has to do with genetics and the way your body grows......i have been eating right and using suppliments for about two years and have not got any bigger but i have got a lot stronger....sometimes its better to be small and strong than big.....also the way you run has a lot to do with it...the most important thing is to change your ruiteen after a while so your body doesnt get used to the same thing.....im 5'11" and 179
