Dont want to lose a testicle?!
Question: ok so ive been having these groin and lower ab pains for awile and after doing some research i think that its a sports hernia. if it is and i get surgery...does it mean that im going to have to lose a testicle? i havent read anything about that so im just wondering cuz im a little worried here.

no i don't think you'll lose a testicle, but i'd get an appointment asap.
You need to go to the doctor right away. If you can't get an appoinment tomorrow then go to the hospital. The longer you wait, then more chance you have of losing a ball.
Sfgfg.......Why would you lose a testicle to a hernia? Hernias are repairable, and no you won't lose your testicle. Get a check and see from the doctor, and i think you will find you will be ok. You may justy have a pulled muscle inthe ingurinal area. Good Luck son I will keep you in prayer
No just go to the doctor and they will run some tests and if that is what it is then they will do surgery to remove the hernia but not the testicle
