Erection Problems!?!

Question: My boyfriend for the last few weeks has had a problem with him maintaining an erection and when he does have an erection it's no longer as big as it used to be. He has lost length with his erection. He is going through some stress right now dealing with health problems w/his dad and financial stress. I think that's what's causing his problem but he refuses to believe it and thinks its something else and that its perm. Any suggestions, advice or help you can offer would be helpful.

I was about to type the same as Dshiznit, when i saw he'd already posted my answer :) It most definitely can happen when under stress, which comes in so many different forms.

If he really doubts it though, again, check out a book, or possibly even write to one of those advice columns in a newspaper. That way you could even say 'Hey look what I ran across, this sounds like what you're going through'.

Its just the stress my boyfriend went through the same thing but after a while he was back to normal

Is he fat? The cholesterol in fat peoples bodies cuts off the blood so it cant go to the penis.

tell him that is just his situation, and if he doens't believe you go to your local library and show him the proof that stress and slight depression etc can completely effect erection and it is in no means permanent.

That's likely to be a stress related erectile dysfunction. He can try to reduce his stress... but that could be very difficult... or he could drop a blue viagra pill and retain good form so as to reduce the potential for further anxiety. He should see his doctor before taking viagra because it can have an impact on blood pressure or other medications he may be taking... and indeed.. his erectile dysfunction could be related to a circulatory system problem and nothing to do with stress. So.. he should see a doc.

it is possible that he maybe cheating on you and he is already warn out or maybe he has become bored with you. you should maybe wear more revealing clothes or even bring a friend in on your escapades . other wise he will have to take a trip to viagara balls.

It's not your fault he's hardheaded and won't believe the truth. I mean stress can cause everything from heart-attacks to sleep deprivation to losing your hair to acne. Why not erection problems?

tickle him with a feather

just be supportive, help him to overcome what he is going through when everything is Normal he will be back and you will enjoy your sex life again, or if that doesn't work he can seek some counseling, professional help, hey! before you try all that let the man go to the strip club and recharge, when he comes home you will see a different man with smile on his face, and may be you will see him bringing some roses to you. try to dress sexy sometimes when he is around, if there is no kids at home.

Masai Warrior I'm so sorry ~ I just accidently hit the "thumbs down" instead of "thumbs up"! SORRY!! It is a great answer...

Schecc.... just be patient with him. Don't make it such a big deal, these things happen and he's probably panicking enough already which is making things worse.

If things don't improve then maybe he needs to see a Dr. There are so many reasons for erectile disfunction and it could be as simple as taking a pill.

Good luck.

stress is an erection killer and there is not much you can do about it unless you want to get ED meds (like viagra). these meds basically ignore what the body and mind are thinking and just allow blood to flow so he can get erect
