My boyfriend has a low sperm count?!
Question: my boyfriend smokes "grass" he already has a low sperm count. about a million live sperm. he took medication 4 it. the count boosted 8 million but the medication is expensive, the insurance wont cover the exspense,please can anyone explain this i need an inexspensive rx and maybe a name of a prescription

1.) He has to stop smoking weed!!
2.) to get his sperm production up, he needs to get his Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) levels up. It may also help to get his Luetenizing Hormone (LH) up. LH gets his body to produce more testosterone, which actually increases sperm production. FSH calls for the testicles to make more sperm and semen.
The weed is most likely stalling his HPTA (hypothalamus-pituatary-testicular axis). A drug called Nolvadex and Clomid will raise his levels.
A drug called Nolvadex will increase his sperm count. It is usually taken for about 6-10 weeks. The starting dose is high, and it slowly tapers down the entire time. Clomid is also used for this.
Tell him to choose, weed or sperm.

You could also tell him to choose between the weed and you. It's only a matter of time before the two of you are driving somewhere and a cop pulls you over for a burned out tail light and sees a baggie of weed behind you seat that you didn't know about, then you'll get sent to jail because your bf won't admit that it's his.
his count is low because of the marijuana, if you want kids, he has to give up the pot.

You shouldn't have to make him choose. Just let him know that if he continues to do weed you won't be around much longer and there's plenty of other fish in the sea.
Heres an idea, if he is just your boyfriend then I don't think this is something you need to worry about yet cause as soon as a baby comes into the pic what is going to keep him around, cause babies are work, so he may be bye bye boyfriend after that and you shouldn't give him that opportunity until he is willing to put a ring on your finger.
Oh and one more thing, ahhhhhh stop being an idiot and smoking grass.
