The condition is called pectus excavatum. It's quite common. I've had it since I was born and am 62 years old now. If it does not impinge on the organs in the chest, particularly the heart, or disturb respiration, it does not require any medical or surgical intervention. The opposite of the condition is pigeon's chest otherwise known as pectus carinatum. It is often harmless too.

id say pretty rare.

can you fit nacho dip in their too...

i could use you for the super bowl.

maybe 1 in 20-30 people have an indent like that

its not that rare among people who suffer from giantism, but it is more rare among people of normal height. If it dowsnt affect your breathing, then dont worry about it, but if it afffects your breathing, you may want to talk to your doctor about having corrective surgery to bring out the indention.

Is it that the bottom of your rib cage "sticks out" a bit?? or is it in the middle of your chest?? The bottom of my brother's rib cage "Sticks out" a bit and it called Pigeon chest. i don't know why. i know a few people with it. it's not that big of deal really. If you have major concerns about it you should see your doctor.
