Is it harmful to splash ordinary seventy percent rubbing alcohol on your face af!

Question: I'm lazy and cheap and prefer this quite inexpensive alternative to fancy dancy face treatments loaded with expensive scents that wear off anyway. I've started to wonder, though, if the isopropyl alcohol in it is harmful to my lungs for the short time that the fumes are strong and right next to my nose and therefore my lungs, not to mention my precious, precious brain.

Voka or gin would be better. Isopropyyl acohol is treated differantly for one the other it is wood alcohol which can cause ill effects. You could use distilled water to dilute it to a less degree which would make it a little safer to use.
But voka or gin with a few (two to three drops) of essential oils of you liking would produce an on slot of after shave lotion.

no, the only worries you will have is it will dry your skin out...it can only hurt you if you drink or inject it...

Don't worry about your o so precious brain! I would only worry about the drying effect it has on your face. It can dry it out, make the skin flaky, and therefore be very itchy! And I'm pretty sure it doesn't feel so great on freshly sahved skin--ouch!

It won't do any harm to your brain, but it is not good for the skin. You need not use anything unless your skin is dry or irritated. If it is, you don't need something filled with chemicals like that. I use Neutrogena facial moisturizer that you can get at the supermarket. It works really well and is very good for your skin. It makes you look younger, too. I am frequently mistaken for Leonardo DiCaprio.

Well, not really.

Doesn't that sting? I don't know about the lungs or brain, but it is harmful to your skin. It will over dry your skin at first, but then your skin will produce more oils and make your skin oilier in the long run.

Ouch! Why would you do that to the tender, freshly-shaved skin. I wouldn't, and don't, put anything on my face after shaving. I don't see the point. Anyway, I was told by a saleman at th ecolgnes/aftershaves counter that alcohol dries the skin. Use a light spray body cologne instead, and preferably not Axe.

invest in some brute
