Yes it absolutely works... keep at it.
I don't think it's that great. Doing regular crunches and then changing it up by going side to side and then adding a regular sit up has far better benefits when done correctly

Looks okay... Just make sure you don't use those handles. And a down side is that you can't go very close to the ground.
