Is LOVE weird for my age? (GUYS AND GIRLS) HELP!!?!

Question: Ok. Im a sophmore in highschool. Im 5'12'' and have strong feelings of love. I first expeirinced love at age 6. But when I was 9 I was in love b/c i had such strong dreams about dying for this one girl, loving her, and carressing her. I had dreams, not sexual, about her for atleast 3 months straight. That was in elementary school.

Im now in highschool. Im 16, male, light brown hair and I feel like passion is running in my veins. Im not girly at all, im built and very masculine, kind of a prep.

Have you felt so passionate about someone you were attracted to wheather boy or girl, gay or straight when ou were A SOPHMORE? It seems to me that none of my friends have feelings or emotions, either sexual or passionate?

HELP!!

Don't worry

i am a personal believer that one is never too young to love.
if you love some one, then that means you want to be with them through the good times and bad.

from what i read, i think you might be in love, but who am i to judge.

Its okay to be a passionate lover. the girls REALLY like that whether they show it or not. just be sweet and kind to them and you will be a modern day Casanova.

you remind me a little of myself: my friends didn't care much about love and didn't approve of mine for people

i once loved a girl so much that i would cry at night if i didn't get to see her. and i am talking about CrYiNg.

your friends just have different views on love.
everyone has a different view. and you shouldn't let what someone else tells you influence your life. if you want to love

THEN LOVE!

on another note... you can also love your friends just as much
i love my best friend who is a boy a lot. it is not sexual but i love him just at that. I would be torn apart crying if something bad happened to him just as if something bad happened to the girl i like.

Good luck with your life and I hope nothing bad ever comes between you and the people you love.

It's not true love you're feeling. You're too young and emotionally not ready for real love.

You're feeling passion...an awakened sense of excitement. It's not love. Now do your homework.

no ur not weird and neither is wad is happenin to u now i guess

no love is not weird for ur age

You're not the only one. Im 14 and my ex and I broke up a year ago. I still care about him so much and think about him everyday! I have liked him for about a year and 1/2 strait! I went out with him for about 8 months in 7th grade and when he broke up with me I cried for WEEKS, only at 13 years old. I was really sad. People thought I was crazy, but I guess I liked him a lot. So to answer your question there are probably a few other kids that care about someone a lot that are your age or younger

You are totally normal and mature for your age. No matter what age you are you can feel love and you have a certain threshold for how much love you can feel. It seems at various ages/times in your life you are loving to the full capacity and that is a wonderful thing. And yes, I have. Also- a lot of your friends don't have these emotions or wont admit to it. Like I said you have to be at a certain level of maturity and be able to love to the fullest capacity. Don't let anyone tell you that you don't know what love is at your age.

Hey bud. I'm 17. Nothing wrong with love at your age. Do you honestly think love at age 20, 30, 40, is any different than at age 16? I sure don't think so. You obviously have strong feelings for someone - love? I don't know. Only you can really decide if your feelings fit the criteria of "love". I hope this helped. :)

I am 13, I know i'm realy young : ( but i very much love my bf. its not puppy love and I dont go writing his name all over everything like a immature girl thats in kiddy love. But he is 15 and he loves me back. its very normal. Sometimes we both feel anxiety because its like we can't show HOW much we love eachother. He has woken up on the verge of tears because he had a dream of me and him driving and we got in a crash and I was pronouced doa when the ambulance got there. I have herd him cry over the phone because he was telling me this story about this old couple that had been married for years but the guy got sick and lost his memory and would lose it every night so she divorced him after a month. My bf was trying to ask what I would do almost like he wanted me to promise him I wouldnt but he was trying to tell me it wouldn't be fair to me and the minute I told him a life without him wouldnt be life, and I said I promise even if I had to watch you wake up everyday and look at me like a stranger I would, I started to cry. I told him no matter how much it would hurt to lose you everyday I would still remember everything. By that point I was in tears. And he hasn't cried since he was little not even when he get hurts really bad.

So the point is, yes, you can love someone at any age. You know your in love when there is only one person more important than you are.

It's possible for a high schooler to be in love, but I think it's rare. I think A LOT of my friends started feeling this type of stuff junior year. You could be an early bloomer. I'm still confused about a lot of things if I'm in love or not, but this isn't about me. Go with what your gut says.
