Why do men never ask for equality?!
Question: Medical science ought to be able to do more for male mortality. Their deaths are nearly always at a younger age than woman. However, it's nearly always womans health issues that get publicity.

what I see is more men refuse to go to the dr. and an underlaying disease usually is too late to cure by the time a positive diagnosis can be made.
many old men are very stubborn and only come when it's too late.
men and women can live to be the same age, there is no trend.
Well just recently it is men killing healthy women.
So lets hear it for women for a change.
Seriously, I think male health issues have received an even keel - i.e. heart disease, men have had a lot time spent on this issue, but women get heart disease as well.
Cancer of the testes has been very prominent of recently so thats a male health issue that has been in the public arena for a while now which is an improvement.
Men certainly dont want to go to the doctors when they have something wrong, thats for sure.
The reason why their is a high incidence of death in some medical conditions i.e. prostate cancer or testicular cancer is because men themselves do not go to the doctor with their symptoms until it is in an advanced stage. Much money has been spent on mens health, but until they get over their embarassment and stop ignoring symptoms then it will continue to happen.
Because, in all likelyhood, when you reach the age of 60 , and are still married you will be praying for death. Haven't you heard this one?
