Yeah, it's not tonsillitis. Is it swollen or larger than usual? Is it so long/hang so low that it touches the back of your tongue? Does it hurt? Is it really wide too? If it's any of those things (especially if it's painful or you can feel it when you swallow), then you probably have an infection - no big deal - due to a cold or virus. I had a swollen uvula last year, and it was disgusting!! I woke up with a really bad sore throat and fever, and I looked at my throat in the mirror and was HORRIFIED to see that my uvula was about double its size, and I could feel it hanging down when I swallowed. Grooossssss! I managed to swallow an ibuprofen, and the swelling went down in a few hours. So, if it's bigger all of a sudden, then you probably have an infection and can take a Tylenol or ibuprofen, or go to your doctor. And drink lots of water. But if it's just long all the time but doesn't affect your swallowing, then that's normal and just the way you were made! Nothing to worry or be embarrassed about - I mean, how many people are ever going to be checkin' out the back of your throat? lol.

It has nothing to do with tonsilitis.

It's only a problem if it chokes you. Seriously. They do have surgeries to trim it if it's bothersome. Sometimes when people get sick their uvula lengthens, but should go back to normal when you're better.

could be useful!!!

No it`s just normal in some people

At first I thought you spelled vulva wrong. I was going to say a large vulva is fine.
