My friend is being abused? Help!?!

Question: I have noticed that for the past week, my friend has had bruises all over her body. When I talked to her, she wasn't very clear. She has a boyfriend who's she's been seeing for at least two months. I asked if it was date rape, and she said no. They had sex and it sounds like he just went out of control. She said that he was abusive and always wanted to be in control. This hurt my friend (physically.) She mentioned something about the guy's friends and that they are humiliating her. What should I do before seeking adult help? I don't want her to get in any trouble. I know her boyfriend so maybe I could talk to him about this. Is this a good idea? Comments or advice is welcome too!

Your friend will not be in any trouble for being abused. I would NOT reccomend talking to her boyfriend. It may make things worse for her or he may hurt you. You need to tell an adult. Tell a teacher or a school counselor. They can keep your report confidentail if you wish. You are a great friend for worrying about her. She may be angry with you for telling, but you have her best interests at heart. She needs adult help to stop the abuse and get assitance for both her and the boyfriend. Don't let her continue to get beat. -Neb

i dunno, thats hard, maybe tell ur parents if it is that bad.

No I don't think you should have words with him as it is a delicate matter I think she should dump him or get advice from some of the agencies like the Samaritans who will listen.

some guys like that stuff. some girls like that stuff. If she is not into that. She needs to call the police. Or you should call them for her!.
