Have an inflamed bump near pubic area?!
Question: I have a bump near my pubic area that has a hole in it and it is red. I'm not sure if I should be concerned or anything (I have not had sexual intercourse), I figured it might just be an ingrown hair that got infected.
Any ideas?

First try a moist hot cloth and hold it on the area. Repeat about every hour and whatever is inside should work it's way out and then you can heal.. If this doesn't produce some kind of result for you contact your family physician. The cloth needs to be pretty hot, but not hot enough to burn your skin
Sounds like an ingrown hair. Put a hot compress on it until it goes away =)
i have to agree that it could be an ingrown hair. that happens to me sometimes. warm compresses should take care of that. if you're really concerned, speak with your doctor.
