Why is there alcohol in me 4 days after not drinking?!

Question: Hi I noticed a previous question: "If you drink alcohol 4 days before going to the doctor can they find alcohol?"

I have not had a drink for over 4 days and found I have a reading of 0.02BAC on a self breath tester.

To work it out accurately you need to count the units you have drunk then allow 1 hour for each unit from the time you stop drinking. Many drinks have there units published on the bottle or can. Not on pump stuff yet though. This is accurate. After a large intake of alcohol it can sometimes 3-4 days for it to clear your system.
The doctor can also ask for a liver function test (LFT) which tell them many things about the state of your liver and how much alcohol it has been and is processing.

in which way?

it stays in ur system for a while

You probably did not brush your teeth during the same 4 days?

how much did you ******* drink?

i know some foods, drinks, and such contain alcohol, so maybe it had something to do with that?

You have taken cold medicine, breath mint, or something that has alcohol in its ingredient, only possible way.

Record breaking slow metabolism...

you should not have any alcohol in your system it usually leaves your body in 1-2 days

Digestion of some food-stuffs in your stomach actually ferments small amounts of alcohol, it has nothing to do with beer, just diet.

you should drink lot and lot of water
and also exercise hard
how much did you drank????

sometimes it takes longer for the alcohol to leave the system, especially if you haven't drank alot of water of exercised alot over the last 4 days!

it is not from the drinking i assure you. acids in the mouth, maybe. mouthwash, probably. am i right? if no,then think if you have had caugh syrup or anything like that. they will trigger a response too. good luck

Alcohol stays in your system for 72 hours, however, it sometimes depends on how much you drank. If it was a huge amount, your liver will still be processing it.
P.s. dental mouth wash shows alcohol if you test after using this. Did you use mouth wash?

Don't trust those home DIY health kits, the only way to get an accurate reading is at doctors.

Like you stated you consumed a large amount of Alcohol so it will take time to remove completely from your system.
