Is it really painfull to go through curcumcisur operation at the age of 27? pls !

Question: Hi,
The circumcision painful when done without pain medicine. There are pain medicines available that are safe and effective. It is recommended that they be used to reduce pain from circumcision. Local anaesthetics can be injected into the penis to lower pain and stress in infants. There are also topical creams that can help. Problems with using pain medicine are rare and usually not serious.

Possible benefits of circumcision include:
Circumcision prevents infection and inflammation of the foreskin. And it may decrease the risk of penile cancer.

It might play a role in reducing the risk of sexually transmitted diseases. Practicing safe sex, however, is a far more important factor in preventing these diseases than whether a man is circumcised.

Infants who are not circumcised may be more likely to develop urinary tract infections. These infections early in life may lead to kidney problems later in life. Infants who have kidney or bladder abnormalities are at higher risk of urinary tract infections, so circumcision may be advised for these babies.

In rare circumstances problems can occur with the uncircumcised penis that may require circumcision at an older age. These problems include inflammation of the foreskin or adherence of the foreskin to the tip of the penis. Circumcision during infancy eliminates the possible need for the procedure at an older age.

Circumcision makes it easy to keep the end of the penis clean. However, the shedding skin cells that naturally accumulate on the glans of an uncircumcised boy are not harmful. Do not try to force the foreskin back to clean the penis of an infant or young boy. Washing externally with mild soap and water is all that is necessary.

not as much as you might think because they give you a lot of drugs, not only pain killers, but ones so that you can't get an erection, that way you won't blow the stitches. but why would you want to unless you had to?

idk but sounds painful why woudl u want to
?

It depends on why you are doing it. Some men get a stenosis of the foreskin where it can no longer be pulled back over the head of the penis for proper cleaning, leading to chronic skin infections and urinary tract infections. You did not state why your doctor is recommending this procedure. If you are not having any problems and the skin can be pulled back for proper cleaning, then the procedure is strictly a cosmetic one. Hope this answers your question.

You'll be out for the surgery, the pain will come during the recovery. It will be very uncomfortable for 3-5 days and then the pain will go away as your penis heals. It's a fairly simple procedure.

Not at all. It is done under local anaesthesia. They will allow you to go home within a couple of hours. You may have little discomfort for 3 to 4 days till the wound is healed. Relax and go ahead. You will not repent.

its very common and minor, takes few minutes, and very safe, its hygenic too in veiw of cleanliness.

i did it at 37, no pain. my penis was just numbed up
and did it in a doctors office. took about 45 min
the sticties fell out 2 weeks later, it will look really bad
black and blue for a week. its been 2 years now, looks
perfect, as if i were circ'd as a baby
i love it
good luck

listen to zaman406, he's got first hand experience. There wont be any paint during the procedure because they'll drug you up nice and good and maybe even send you home with a nice gift-bag of feel better pills :P I'm sure you'll experience some minor discomfort for a week or two (maybe more...maybe less). The hardest part will just be getting used to it.

it's not actually, your question could be answer only by an anesthesia... good luck!!!

I was circumcised at 18 and can tell you it really is no big deal! I was cut on a Friday and was back in class on Monday! You ice it the first few days to keep the swelling down. The only downside was avoiding sex for a month, but well worth it! I was done in office with a local, was in and out in about 45min. Sex is 100% better, it is cleaner and much healthier for you and your partner(s)! Don't listen to the anti wack jobs as most of them are uncut guys that have no clue! I had no hesitation to have my son's (1&3)circumcised, as I knew what the truth is!

Make sure you research it well, as it's a permanent surgery (as in, there's no going back). You will experience pain (especially during erections) for the first few weeks, and sex and masturbation should be avoided for a month.

If you have a tight foreskin or too sensitive head/glans, see this link:

Otherwise, research it well. Here are studies and statistics to add to your research:

If you're having problems pulling back your foreskin during an erection, then you probably have a condition called phimosis. While many might suggest circumcision, that's not necessary. There are easier and painless (and cheaper) ways to "fix" this condition.

The first thing you should try are stretching exercises. See link 1 for good and detailed instructions on what to do. It's best to do them right after a shower when the skin's most flexible. If that doesn't work after about a month, then ask a doctor about certain prescription creams that're supposed to help loosen the foreskin. In one study, these creams are the most cost-effective treatment a doctor can provide (link 2). The creams can also take up to a month or two to full work, so be patient.

But if you combine the stretching exercises with the creams, then things tend to go quicker. In most cases of phimosis these two treatments are all that're necessary, you just need to be a little patient.

See the remaining links for some more useful info, and the last is a blog by a guy who went through a similar situation. Good luck with whatever you try!

Yes, maybe not the actual operation, but recovery yeah and then you'll probably lose sensitivity. If you have a tight foreskin there are other treatments that I suggest you investigate.
