Painful lump in arm pit?!

Question: I am a male in his mid 30's and have a very painful lump in my arm pit. It has been getting progressively more sore the past couple weeks. It is about the size of a dime and has no head to it and feels solid. Should I be concerned?

Probably just a swollen gland. There are tons of glands in that area. But if has not gone away after a couple of weeks, the doctor may be able to do something to help.

Don't listen to that person who was saying it is probably stage 1 cancer. They have no idea what they are talking about. It could be anything. I had a similar problem a couple of years ago and it just went away on its own.

Get your doctor to check it out.

yes , you have lymph nodes there. They catch infection, if it does does not go down its like its caught cancerous cells only then it will enlarge. If i am correct its the 1st stage go 2 ur doctor alwaysbest 2 get it sorted eariler. it cud be jus a ingrown hair as simple as that but i wudnt risk it. What ever u do, don't squeeze it.

Go to your Doctor
