I'm 20 years old, but I still look like I'm 12...?!
Question: This is a huge blow to my self-esteem :(. I'm so tired of people thinking I'm 12. This one guy at work even asked if I was old enough to work where I work right now... Is there any way I can look older? I guess I wear clothes that fit, maybe fit too much that I look a lot younger. I'm average built. I'm short, which doesn't help in any way at all. I wear my hair up, not sure if that's gonna do anything. I have stubble, but I shaved the other day, and I don't wanna look like a sasquatch, lol. Any tips :(? Maybe clothes can make me look older.

grow a beard. And i have this same problem but opposite im 15 and people think im 20. Or show them your id all the time,
i'm 24 and get carded to buy lottery tickets all the time. 1. people are stupid and can't tell age difference 2. who cares when youre old youll be looking good.
ive come to terms with looking young and don't mind it at all.

it's good to look young.......I recently looked at my HS picture.....I am now 40 and my general looks have not changed AT ALL......live it up and keep your ID on you.
im 16 and have passed for 18 before but idk hw you would look older except grow a mustache and wear cloths that would make you look older
wear more mature clothes, let your stuble grow, you wont look like sasquash if you keep it neat, but let it grow. it'll make you look more mature. hang around tolder people. Be confident.
same here i am 20 but look like i am 15/14....i just started developing facial hair, so thats helped me out a little
Yeah, it's kinda embarrasing now when you're getting carded for R rated movies. But when you're 40 and look like you're 28, you'll be loving life. And those friends who looked so old, well guess what? When they're 40, they'll look 50. Be grateful you've got a youthful look. People are always trying to look younger.
Use a walker and wear Depends. Just kidding.
I am 20 very short and I get the same thing all the time. Everybody always thinks I'm 12 sometimes a bit younger or a couple years older but it blows their minds when they find out how old I really am. lol I've got use to it. It's become kinda humorous to me in the way people re-act. I could see how being a guy it would be very annoying though. Just don't worry about it. Some people will think you're really cute! And you will always look younger even when you're really old.
Think that its a God gift and Thanks God for it. Even I am 38, but if you see me , they tell me I'm 25 or 26.
