Just use your finger and some vasoline or butter or something that will lubricate your anus. It feels real good so be careful and enjoy the feeling.
No need for gloves. Take your thumb and press really hard between your balls. My bf loves it when I do that.....stimulates his prostate. You can use a glove with lube if you want to probe the prostate through the anus.
I don't think what to use os the problem here but why you want to reach it? You are not a doctor so you testing yourself isn't going to make a difference. Get it done properly. They have the equipment to use and know what to check for.
Why do you need a household thing? No, you should not use lotion as fragrances could cause rash or allergy to the sensitive anal skin. If you're reaching your prostate just wash your hands with soap and water before touching anything or anyone else. IF you are reaching someone else's prostate-- USE A GLOVE!! Cheapest and safest lube would be mineral oil.
