Does Uncircumcision affect male sexual pleasure?!

Question: I'm 19 and uncircumcised. I was wondering if having sex is going to be less pleasureable seeing as how i have extra skin or the head is covered. Is the sensitive part of my penis covered? i need some help. What about wearing a condom. Will that decrease my sexual pleasure or feeling if at all?

It won't decrease sexual pleasure. In fact, several studies have found that it helps.

Circumcision has become less common. Circumcision rates were as high as 90% back in the 1960s and 1970s (that's partly why today's adults are so... brainwashed, I supposed you could say, about thinking that circumcision is better) but they have fallen to as low as 14% in some states. Here are the statistics:
http://www.cirp.org/library/statistics/U...

The USA is the last developed nation doing it to a large number of newborns without religious or medical needs. (Europeans, Latin Americans, Japanese, and most Australians, Canadians, and Asians don't circumcise):

Why?

There's pain involved, often why doctors don't want you in the room when it's done:

http://www.pslgroup.com/dg/1f21e.htm
(you can search online for a circumcision video, too)

In a medical study, it was found that females are more likely to hit orgasm with an uncircumcised man:

The lubricated foreskin (on the inside... like your eyelids) slides up and down during sex and masturbation to stimulate the head (which is why you don't hear of uncircumcised guys needing lube to masturbate).

Studies have found that circumcision reduces sensitivity (this article also mentions how it has lost popularity in the USA in recent times):
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,2855...

And despite being more sensitive, uncircumcised guys still last in the same six minute range (average) that circumcised guys do:

Circumcision makes masturbation more difficult:
http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs...

Which makes sense, that's how circumcision was promoted in the USA:

Increases erectile dysfunction rates:

If too much skin is removed in circumcision, it can make the penis smaller since the penis needs some skin to expand during an erection:

Circumcision does not completely stop penile cancer. The American Cancer Society has already confirmed the myth that circumcision = no cancer.
http://www.cancer.org/docroot/CRI/conten...

If circumcision did stop penile cancer, then penile cancer would not be more common in the USA (most circumcised adults) than in some European nations, where circumcision is not practiced other than for medical/religious reasons.
http://www.circumstitions.com/Cancer.htm...

And a new study found that circumcision does not reduce your chances to get HIV/AIDS. Unlike other studies, this one was done in a developed nation; the USA.

The foreskin on a uncircumcised male usually retracts when the guy is having sex. If using a condom, pull the foreskin back to expose the head of the penis before putting on the condom. When a guy is circumcised, many nerve endings on the head of the penis are either damaged or cut completely and circumcised men may lose up to 25% of the sensitability in their penis because of this barbaric act of removing the foreskin. Don't worry, you will not even notice your foreskin while having sex, just enjoy it.

No, being circumsised has nothing to do with sexual pleasure. It is just something that christians, or jews do to thier kids after they are 3 months old. The only reason for it is because it is in the bible, and they follow the rituals.

the foreskiin contains a lot of very sensitive nerve endings that add a lot of feeling during sexual stimulation. As well, the foreskin is there to protect the glans/head from drying out or becoming desensitized due to a lot of friction against underwear, etc.

So, bottom line is a penis with normal foreskin is going to tend to have more sensitivity than one that was circumcised. This is not a universal truth but goven the head is moister and not desensitized over time and the presence of all the extra nerve endings, it holds in most cases.

It should increase your pleasure thats what the foreskin functions as a trigger for ejaculation.

You've got it backwards. The head of and uncircumcised penis is more sensitive because the it's usually covered up and protected. The uncircumcised penis is also more sensitive becaues it has more nerves in the inner foreskin. Since the foreskin moves back and forth down the shaft, the nerves will not be "covered" and instead they will be stimulated more. So if anything sex should be more pleasurable to you having the foreskin. It's also more pleasurable for the female because it acts as a natural aid against friction in the vagina. However, wearing a condom for most guys (cut or uncut) does slightly reduce the sensitivity.

I was circumsised at 19. I did not notice one bit of diference when it came to pleasure. It was good before and it still good now.

Circumcised penises are less sensitive. That foreskin you have shields the head of your penis from contact with the outside world, and from the elements (like your underwear fabric, which is abrasive to soft tissues no matter how soft it might be).

Most guys have problems with premature ejaculation as it is, and try to prevent it by "thinking about sports" or something like that. For those guys, circumcision might help them last longer because they'll be less sensitive. A lifetime of the head of the penis not be shielded by its natural foreskin protection will toughen it up, naturally.

The only thing about foreskin - and I'm uncircumcised, so I know - is that you need to roll back the foreskin first, before you put on the condom. You also have to put just a tiny bit more effort everyday in the shower to roll back the foreskin and make sure you clean your penis. That nicely pushes aside the whole "it's more sanitary" idea of circumcision.

I personally think circumcision is a barbaric, primitive practice. You should be happy you're uncut. I am! And I'm already somewhat insensitive down there - I'm scared to think if I'd ever have an orgasm if I had been circumcised! Have fun with your all natural little friend down there.

No way dude your unit is more sensitve that a dude that is cut because the head has been protected by the skin condoms are used just like a cut unit only when you put it on pull back on the skin roll it on then do your thing. Dude no worries when the time comes just do what comes natrally and do not think about it and you will be fine

curtdude

It makes no difference. While there are "x" number of nerve endings in the foreskin, it is the BRAIN that registers sexual pleasure and interprets the signals from the nerve endings. And the skin--of the whole body--is the largest sexual organ. Pleasure, including sexual pleasure, is a state of mind, and depends much less on the genitals than many like to think.

yes it affects

The foreskin does cover up the most sensitive parts of your penis: the inner foreskin and the glans (penis head). However, you should be able to pull your foreskin back easily to expose these areas.

Usually during sexual activity, the foreskin pulls back a little (if not all the way) upon erection. Also, moving the foreskin back and forth across the glans feels really good, as I'm sure you must've figured out from masturbating.

So the foreskin doesn't negatively affect sexual pleasure. In fact, some studies suggest it actually benefits sexual pleasure and makes you more sensitive (see links 1-4).

To put on a condom properly, you should first pull back your foreskin all the way, put the condom on, then kind of push your foreskin forward so the condom "doubles back" on itself. In this way, everything important's covered and your foreskin can move freely back and forth as it would normally during masturbation/sex.

If you're having problems pulling your foreskin back (i.e. too tight/narrow), don't worry. Look at links 5-8, there are good info there that're helpful.

stay uncut, its much better

Well being uncircumcised does not effect your sexual pleasure but it's possible you won't have kids. I'm 12 and i had sex ed at my old school last year.

it dipends on every person .
some couples finde that using a condom will maximize the plesure and other think the opposite.
but for the circumcision. an uncircumsized penis feel less sexual plesure than a circumsized one.
